Our portrait painting process is not to be mistaken for the many cloning programs currently in use.  We'll take your cherished photograph and digitally brush each stroke by hand until the final piece emerges, creating an enduring work of art.  

A Wacom digital tablet and pen/brush are used much like a traditional canvas and brush have been used for centuries.  The layers of colors and design are all chosen by the creative spirit of the artist, but can be tailored to your taste and preferences.   A filter may be used prior to painting to add subtle shifts in tone, remove unwanted background elements or impart requested traits.  Some elements may be shifted slightly to add balance.  The final result, after many hours of adding stroke upon stroke and layer upon layer, is an exciting and creative new perspective on your beloved pet.

Print set-up and digital proof are included.

Once in a while we get a request for major alterations and are happy to accommodate.  Fees for such work would be on an individual basis and would be discussed prior to commencement of work.
